O'Reilly Media

O’Reilly Media spreads the knowledge of innovators through its books, online services, magazine, and conferences. They are most notably known as a publisher of the iconic “animal books” for software developers, creator of the first commercial web site (GNN), organizer of the summit meeting that gave the open source software movement its name, and prime instigator of the Do-It-Yourself revolution through its Make magazine. O’Reilly is a “house of several brands”, where several unique products, projects, and partnerships serve by maintaining sub-identities, while coexisting under the umbrella of the company’s brand.

Our Contribution
We avoided routine solutions by always pushing toward unique, on-brand marketing. This was done by leading creative presentations and brainstorming sessions with executive level management, sales teams, and corporate customers. Together we developed and tracked seasonal budgets, oversaw production schedules, established and managed vendor relationships, and coordinated fulfilment of all projects. We proactively organized frequent meetings with Senior Managers from Sales, Brand Development, and Marketing to continually evaluate and develop marketing strategies.
