Business 2.0 magazine
Business 2.0 was a monthly magazine founded by magazine entrepreneur Chris Anderson and journalist James Daly, formerly at Forbes and Wired, in 1998 to chronicle the rise of the "New Economy." Having originally found success with wonky examinations of the interaction between technology and business, later on in its run, under the ownership of Time Inc., the magazine broadened its focus, running cover stories on topics ranging from real estate to employment trends and outer space.
Our Contribution
Typebox worked closely with the editorial and creative staff in the
generation of information graphics, diagrams, illustrations, and maps.
We proactively suggested how complex explanations could be rendered
in a clear and easy to read visual. Our goals for clarity were aligned
with the magazine's drive to appease the impatient reader. Also, the
visual explanations we provided added to the graphic punch Business
2.0 was widely known for.
